REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ARCON PROJECT REGISTRATION NUMBER (APRN) SYSTEM.

The Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is the regulatory body established by the Architects (Registration, ETC,) Act Chapter A19, the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, to regulate the training of Architects and practice of Architecture in Nigeria.

The Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is implementing the ARCON Project Registration Number (APRN) System which entails the process of numbering ALL Architectural Projects in Nigeria.

The Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) was established by the Architects (Registration, etc) Act CAP A19 the Laws of The Federation of Nigeria 2004.

12 Universities Qualify To Train Architects – ARCON

Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) said only 12 universities in the country are qualified to award first and second degrees in architecture of all the 138 universities in the country.

Speaking exclusively with LEADERSHIP WEEKEND, the president of ARCON, Arch. Umaru Aliyu, stated that the council would soon publish the names of the Universities that have been approved by the council to run the programme.
